CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

MEET ADRIANNA E. GOMEZ
Attorney. Advocate. Veteran. Survivor. Fighter.
I didn’t go to law school to impress people—I did it to fight for people. The kind who’ve been underestimated. Ignored. Silenced.
I’m Adrianna Gomez—a family law and criminal defense attorney based in Cullowhee, NC. I serve clients throughout Western North Carolina and the EBCI Tribal Court with a fierce blend of empathy, strategy, and straight-up honesty.
But I didn’t start my career with a fancy law firm or a picture-perfect path. I started it with grit, survival instinct, and a deep belief that people deserve better.

My Journey
FROM SURVIVAL TO SERVICE
I grew up in poverty—raised by a single mom in a trailer park, depending on food stamps and Medicaid to get by. By the time I was 15, I was working full-time and on my own. I became a teen mom. I dropped out of high school. And when there were no good options left—I made one.
I joined the U.S. Army.
While serving in the 101st Airborne Division, I deployed to Afghanistan and started rebuilding my life. I started working towards my degree in Political Science from Austin Peay State University while still enlisted. After my military service, I went on to earn my Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law—becoming the first person in my family to earn an advanced degree.
I’ve worked with Pisgah Legal Services, the Public Defender’s Office, and other nonprofits that serve vulnerable populations. But I started my own practice so I could choose the clients and causes I believe in. Because for me, this isn’t just a job—it’s a mission.
What I Do & Why I Do It
I represent people who are in the fight of their lives—parents navigating custody battles, survivors seeking protection, and individuals facing criminal charges that could upend everything. My work spans family law, divorce, domestic violence, and criminal defense throughout Western North Carolina and the EBCI Tribal Court. Whether you're dealing with a DWI, working through a high-conflict separation, or trying to keep your children safe, I show up with strategy, clarity, and a relentless commitment to your case. I don’t sugarcoat things, I don’t make false promises, and I don’t back down when it counts.
But this isn’t just about the law—it’s about the people behind it. I care deeply about serving those who’ve been overlooked, silenced, or stuck in survival mode for far too long. Many of my clients are domestic violence survivors or parents protecting their children, and I take that responsibility seriously. I know what it feels like to be afraid and unsure, because I’ve lived it too. That’s why I built this firm—not just to practice law, but to use it as a tool to help people rebuild their lives with strength, protection, and hope.
